How to add a new Minister

A new Minister can be added to eCase as part of adding a new ministerial role to the system, or changing the Minister assigned to a role.

To add a new Minister to the system, follow the steps below.

  1. Select the eCase More menu, then Ministers in the Reference section.
  2. If you are… Then…
    Adding a new ministerial role · Select the + Add ministerial role button, the Add a new ministerial role pop up window appears.
    · Select the Create Minister link found under the New role holder field.
    · The Create minister pop up window appears
    Adding a new Minister to a ministerial role · Select the name of the ministerial role you would like to change.
    · Select the Change who holds this role link.
    · Select the Create Minister link found under the New role holder field.
    · The Create minister pop up window appears
  3. Optional: Enter the title of the Minister in the Title field.
  4. Enter the Forename and Surname in the relevant fields.
  5. Select the Create minister button. The Minister has been created.
