Quality Assurance

As a drafter or Hub coordinator, you can request to have the case details and response checked before the case is closed and a response sent out to the correspondent.

If there are any Mandatory Clearances set on the case, then the Quality Assurance must be sent to the relevant team member. Once the response has been checked and the request is accepted, the Mandatory Clearance will be set to complete and the response can be sent to the correspondent.

There are three ways to request quality assurance (QA) for the case.

  • New Quality Assurance Request
  • New Record-only Quality Assurance
  • Mandatory Clearances – these can be set on the case to ensure that relevant QAs are completed on the case before it can be closed. See the How to assign a Mandatory Clearance to a case section.
The New Quality Assurance Request is used for sending an email to the relevant area for checking the details of the case.
The New Record-only Quality Assurance is used for making a record on the case that a quality assurance has occurred, but external to eCase.
