Respond to a Case
Once the case has been investigated and contributions received, it is time to draft a response to the correspondent.
Steps on how to access the Prepare a Response Screen
An overview of the Prepare Response screen
First step of responding to a case is to pick any Standard Lines that are required to be added to the response document.
Second step of the Response process is to download the Response Template. If any Standard Lines have been selected, they will automatically appear in the downloaded Response Template.
Once the downloaded Response Template has been updated to reflect the case details, the save Response document can be uploaded to the case. This is the third step in the process
Use the eCase Redact tool to redact documents as required.
The Response Method will detail how you will be responding to the correspondent. For example, by letter or email.
The Secure Share feature allows you to send sensitive responses securely or send large files.
