Contribute to a Case

As a Drafter or Hub coordinator, you may have to request information from other people in order to complete the case response. The contributor will receive an email requesting information. If they have access to eCase, the contribution request will appear in their Workbasket. If the contributor doesn’t use eCase, the contribution can be completed by replying to all on the email or being entered as a New Record-only Contribution.

Once the contribution has been completed via eCase, or the contributor has 'replied to all' on the email, you will receive an email stating that the contribution has been sent or is complete. If a document has been attached to the contribution request via eCase, you have the option to set this document as your Response Document.

You can request as many contributions to the case as required in order to complete the response.

If you would like to hear more about the benefits of requesting a contribution, review the Benefits of requesting a Contribution using eCase video below.
