Create Name and Description

The name and description of the email template can be added and modified once created. It allows explanations about the email template to be provided on the email.

Name and description of digest email template

  1. To create a digest email, follow one of the actions below.

    If you want to create… Then…
    A public digest email for the first time Click on the Create a public digest email link.
    A public digest email after the first time Click on the New Public Template button.
    A personal digest email for the first time Click on the Create a personal digest email link.
    A personal digest email after the first time Click on the New Personal Template button.

    The Create Public or Personal Digest Email pop up appears where you can start to create a draft email.
  2. Enter the name of the digest email in the Name field. This is what will appear in the Digest Emails list to help you identify each of your templates.
  3. Enter a description of the digest email in the Description field. This will be shown at the top of the digest email and can include a description of what the recipient will see on the email.
  4. Enter text for the subject line of the email in the Email subject field.
  5. Click on the Create template button. The digest email template appears in a draft format, with the Name of the template in the top left corner of the screen.
  6. Optional: to change the Name, Description or Email Subject, click on the Edit Name, Description & Email Subject link. Modify the Name, Description or Email Subject fields and click on the Save button.
