How to set up Digest Emails
Digest emails let you schedule tailored emails which include a summary of cases, statistics and other information that is relevant to you.

A digest email can be:
- Public – digest email is released for public viewership within the organisation and not external. Digest emails can be set up and automatically emailed to team members who can view the information in the email, but don’t necessary want to access eCase every day. Only team members that have the Maintain Public Digest Emails privilege on their user account will be able to create and modify public digest emails.
- Personal – digest email is created to be visible just to you. You can view the information from eCase or via the email that is sent to you.
Both public and personal digest emails can be made up of one or more of the following email sections:
- Correspondent Type Case List - provides a list of cases, for specific received or target dates, grouped together in their Correspondent Group, for example Media, Member of the Public.
- Standard Line Changes – provides a list of standard lines that have been added, modified or deleted during the selected time period.
- Team Case List – provides a list of cases that are open and assigned to the selected team, or teams beneath the selected team in the organisational structure.
- Team Statistics – provides an overview of cases that are currently open, overdue and closed within target. Statistics can be provided for a specific team or department within the organisation structure.
