How to edit a Field Value Option

If you want to change an option to match your organisations terminology, or correct a spelling mistake, you can edit the field value option set.

To do this, follow the steps below.
  1. Go to the More menu, then select Field Value Options from the Settings column.
  2. Select the title of the field value option set where you want to edit an option. All of the options for that set will be shown.
  3. Select the Edit link at the end of the option you would like to change. The Option name text box becomes active. Make your changes to the text and amend the case type options if required.
  4. Once complete, select the Save button. You will be taken back to the Field Value Options screen. The changes made to the edited option will now show in the drop-down list for that field on Case Details. Any existing cases that used this modified option will be updated to reflect the new changed option.
