Document Folders
The New folder button allows you to create folders so that you can collate documents into relevant areas. Any folders on the case will appear at the top of the Document list and grid view.

To create a new folder, follow the steps:
- Select the New folder button.
- Enter a name for the folder, for example a summary of what the folder will include.
- Select the Create button. The folder is created and added to the top of the list or grid view. The document type will state Folder.
There are several ways to move documents to the folder:

| Three dots | 1. Select the three dots at the end of the document line. 2. Select the Move link. The Move to field becomes available. 3. If you have a number of folders available, start to type in the name of the folder in the Search folders box, or select the folder name. 4. Select the Move button. The document or documents selected will now move to the folder |
| Drag and drop | Select one or more documents in the List view and drag them over the folder. A banner will confirm how many documents you have moved to the folder. |
| Select the folder name | 1. To add documents to the folder, select the name of the folder. 2. Next to the name of the folder, select the Upload button.
3. A drop-down list will show you the document types available. Select the required document type. 4. Select the choose a file link to find your document, or drag and drop the file into the box. A banner will confirm the number of documents that have been uploaded. Or, you can drag and drop documents into the folder screen. Once the documents have been dragged into the folder, select the required document type from the Document type drop-down. Then select the Upload All button. Close the pop up when you have finished uploading documents. |
To download the documents in the folder into a zip, select the More link, then the Download folder link. A zip file will then be available in your downloads with the name of the folder.
To go back to the Documents List or Grid view, select the Documents link.
