How to Request a New Password
If you have forgotten your password, click on the Forgot your password? link on the Sign in screen. Follow the steps below to re-set your password.
- Type in your specific eCase web address in the format https://name.ecase.co.uk where the word ‘name’ will be replaced with the name of who you work for. For example https://springdale.ecase.co.uk.
- Click on the Forgot your password? link. The Request password reset screen appears.
- Enter in your work Email address that you use to access eCase.
- Enter the Security Code that can be seen in the Security Image section.
NOTE if you cannot read the Security Image, click on The image is unreadable, give me a new one link. - Click on the Request password reset button. A message appears telling you that an email has been set to you with further instructions on how to complete your password reset request.
NOTE the email that is sent to you will expire in one hour. If you do not manage to reset your password within an hour, then follow steps 1 to 5 again to receive a new password reset email. - Click on the password reset link in the email. The Set new password screen appears.
- Enter a new password in the New Password field. The password must contain 8 or more characters and include at least one upper-case letter, one lower-case letter, one number and one symbol (!@#$%^&*()\-_=+{};:,<.>).
- Confirm the new password in the Confirm New Password field.
- Click on the Set password button. Your password has been changed message appears.
- Sign into eCase with your new password. Refer to the Sign in section.
