Configure eCase IdP Settings

To complete the setup, you will need to configure eCase to recognise Azure AD as a SAML Identity Provider on the SAML Settings page in eCase. eCase requires three values for token signing:

  • the IdP Endpoint URL
  • IdP Entity ID
  • an X509 Certificate

You can find these on the Azure AD Single Sign-On configuration page.

Follow the steps below to add the values to eCase.

  1. Once signed into eCase, go to the More menu on the eCase menu bar and click on the drop down arrow.
  2. Select the SAML Settings link under the Settings column. The SAML Settings page appears.
  3. To configure eCase to recognise your IdP, copy the Login URL value from the Set up allocation section and enter it in the IdP Endpoint URL field.
  4. In the IdP Entity ID field, copy the Azure AD Identifier value from the Set up allocation section.
  5. In the IdP X.509 Certificate field, click the download link for the Certificate (Base64). Open the downloaded file in a text editor and copy the full value, including the “----BEGIN CERTIFICATE-----” and “-----END CERTIFICATE------”

TIP Follow the instructions on the Test SAML Single Sign On Settings page prior to enabling SSO
