Enabling SAML
When you enable SAML, the eCase Sign In screen will change from an Email address and password prompt to a button which redirects users to sign in using your Identity Provider (IdP). Users who have an eCase account at the point you enable SAML will still be able to sign in using their Email address and eCase password, but they will also be able to sign in using your IdP if their email addresses match. Users will still be able to self-register for an account without using SAML.
To enable SAML, follow the steps below:
- Once signed into eCase, go to the More menu on the eCase menu bar and click on the drop down arrow.
- Select the SAML Settings link under the Settings column. The SAML Settings page appears.
- Click the Enable SAML radio button.
- Review the SAML Setting details and ensure that the IdP and SP information is correct. Then click on the Test SAML Settings button and complete the test sign in process.
- Click on the Save button.
NOTE Any users who are currently logged in will be unaffected. Any users who attempt to Sign In after you enable SAML will be subject to the new Sign In process.
