Test SAML Single Sign On Settings

Once you have configured your Identity Providers (IdP) and entered the IdP information in the SAML Settings page on eCase, the next step is to test your settings. This must be done prior to enabling SAML and anytime you make changed to the SAML Settings.

To test your SAML settings, follow the steps below:

NOTE These steps will not be covered as they are different for each IdP.
  2. Go to the SAML Settings page. Click on the More drop-down on the eCase menu bar and select the SAML Settings link.
  3. Review the IdP information that has been entered and then click on the Test SAML Settings button. The Test SAML settings pop up window appears.
  4. Click on the Open IdP Single sign On page button. This will open your IdP's Single Sign On page where you can log in using the test IdP user account.

Most IdPs will provide error logs or further diagnostic information to help you determine the exact problem.
