What is new with each Case Type?

The next section will highlight any terms, fields or process that have been enhanced for each of the different case types. Click on the name of the case type below to view the details.

Cabinet Cases can be created manually using the New Case button.
Any team member that has the Fast Track User role on their user account will be able to view and process Fast Track cases. This functionality is available to assist you in closing multiple cases in one go.
An FOI case can be created manually using the New Case button, or via email (new.case@bis.ecase.gsi.gov.uk). If you send the email from your own eCase email address, the case will appear in your My Work tab.
A Ministerial Correspondence (MC) case or Treat Official (TO) case can be created on eCase manually or via email. Once a case is created and allocated to a Hub, you will now see a new tab appear in your Workbasket called the Hub tab.
This is a new case type that has been added to eCase3
eCase is integrated into the Houses of Parliament written questions and answer service.
